F3 to implement standard aero parts

Formula 3 will introduce standardised aerodynamic parts and a new engine to the category in 2012, in an effort to reduce costs. Development of front aerodynamics once cars have been homologated will be limited, while the new more powerful engines will be based around the FIA's new world engine for rallying and touring cars. The moves were agreed at today's FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting, which has set some of the criteria to which the next generation of Formula 3 cars must be built.
